The base Verano includes standard dual-zone climate, remote start, Bluetooth, 18-inch wheels, a six-speaker stereo with USB connectivity, a touchscreen control interface and Buick’s IntelliLink system.
The mid-level Convenience Group 2 brings a power driver seat and rear parking sensors, while the uplevel Leather Group adds leather upholstery, seat heat, push-button start and a premium nine-speaker stereo system.
On the safety front, the Verano comes equipped with Onstar, stability control and 10 standard airbags – front, side, curtain, rear seat side and front knee. The Verano earned the highest possible safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Power for the front-wheel drive 2012 Buick Verano comes from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. This output is managed by a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 2012 Buick Verano is 21 mpg city, 32 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined.
