Hyundai has made life a little simpler for the 2013 Hyundai Genesis, dropping two of its engines and adding some optional features.
Both the 4.6-liter and standard 5.0-liter V8 engines have been dropped from the line-up, while the 333 hp, 3.8-liter direct-injected V6 remains available with the premium and technology packages. The 429 hp, 5.0-liter direct-injected Tau V8 is now exclusive to the Genesis 5.0 R-Spec model, which now has a new, optional, eight-inch information display with navigation, which Hyundai says has a more intuitive user interface, enhanced voice recognition and new "hot keys" to reduce driver distractions. In addition, Hyundai's Blue Link telematics is now available with the Ultimate Navigation package.
