Kia has introduced a new luxury trim level for its 2013 Kia Optima. The new, top-of-the-line SX Limited builds on the SX trim with the Premium and Touring Packages. Other additional standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, chrome and wood accents, Nappa leather seats and trim, electronic parking brake and 18-inch chrome wheels with red brake calipers. It is powered by the same engine as in the 2013 Kia Optima SX, a 274 hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that gets 22 city / 34 highway mpg.
Kia has also decided to offer the EX trim level with only the 200 hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder model. Previously, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine was also available on the EX.
The company also dropped the manual transmission model, which was available on the 2012 Kia Optima LX.
