The limited edition 2013 Scion tC Release Series 8.0 will start at $21,815 for models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission and $22,865 for models with the six-speed automatic transmission, when it goes on sale at dealers later this month.

As a limited edition of just 2,000, the sporty coupe comes only in Absolutely Red with gloss black side view mirrors. It features a five-piece body kit that includes front and rear lower valences, side skirts and a rear spoiler as well as 18-inch black alloy wheels. Lowering springs and an exhaust system integrated into the center of the rear valence further distinguish the Scion tC Release Series 8.0 from the standard Scion tC in a parking lot. On the interior, the 2013 Scion tC Release Series 8.0 gets sporty seats with textured black fabric and contrasting red stitching, which is also on the leather steering wheel.

Like all Scions, the 2013 Scion tC Release Series 8.0, comes with a free service plan that covers factory-scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles (whichever comes first) as well as two years of free roadside assistance.
