2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid

Audi has released prices and details on the new and refreshed cars in its line-up for the 2013 model year.

Returning for 2013 is the Audi Allroad, which was last on sale as a 2005 model. The 2013 Audi Allroad, which starts at $39,600, is more fuel efficient and powerful than its predecessor and features a new, modern design.

For 2013, the Audi S6, S7, and S8 will all get added power. The S8, which will start at $110,000, has a new, 520 hp, 4.0-liter, twin turbo V8 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic, while the S6 (starting at $71,900) and S7 (starting at $78,800) use a version of the same engine that gets 420 hp and is instead paired with a seven-speed double clutch S tronic transmission. All three models feature technology that can shut down four cylinders during highway cruising to improve fuel economy. All three models arrive this fall. In addition, the A6 will be offered with Quattro for 2013, while the A7 will come in a five-passenger seating configuration.

The 2013 Audi RS 5 is the latest in the RS performance brand to arrive stateside. Powered by a 4.2-liter V8, the RS 5 goes from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, according to Audi. RS-specific design elements include unique front and rear bumpers, honeycomb grille , front splitter and rear diffuser. It starts at $68,900.

The A8 has expanded from two models to four for 2013. The 2013 Audi A8 starts at $72,200 for the new 333 hp, 3.0-liter supercharged V6, while the new 520 hp, 4.0-liter V8 starts at $80,900. The A8 with the W12 engine and the S8 will continued to be offered, while an A8 equipped with a TDI engine is expected early next year.

The A4 and A5 models received a mild freshening and start at $37,850 and $42,200 respectively.

The 2013 Audi Q5 will get some mild styling changes, while a new, supercharged V6 will replace the naturally-aspirated V6 offered previously. A new hybrid version (shown here) will be added. All Q5 models arrive this fall. Pricing has not yet been announced.

The 2013 Audi Q7, which starts at $46,800, has a new diesel engine that provides better performance as well as improved fuel economy.
