Nissan also continues to evolve their well-received halo car, the GTR, now available worldwide.

Ford Allows Owners to Get Up Close and Personal With High-Performance Focus ST
Ford seems to be serious about the new Focus ST.
The Blue Oval’s launch of the new high-performance, front-drive Focus includes driving events available at select cities.
“Our fans have expressed extremely high interest in this car, but we know the proof is in the pudding,” said Lisa Schoder, Ford Focus ST Marketing manager. “We want ST fans, as well as drivers of competitive vehicles, to be able to taste this car firsthand. What better way to do it than to bring the car to the people with the help of professional driver instruction on closed courses.”
Events run from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the following venues:
· New York, IZOD Center, June 30
· Washington, D.C., FedEx Field, July 14
· Boston, Gillette Stadium, July 21
· San Francisco, Candlestick Park, Aug. 4
· Los Angeles, Dodgers Stadium, Aug. 11

Engines Roar to Life in Carroll Shelby Tribute
The roof of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles was covered in muscle cars yesterday to pay tribute to legendary racer and tuner Carroll Shelby, who passed away May 10 at the age of 89.
Owners fired up their large-displacement engines and revved them freely to remember the American tuning legend who burst onto the international automotive stage in the 1960s with epic battles against Enzo Ferrari, and whose tinkering continued a half-century later with the 2013 Shelby Mustang GT500.
The event, “Carroll Shelby: A Life Remembered,” hosted by Jay Leno, saw 1200 people pay their respect. Among those in attendance were Don Prudhomme and Dan Gurney.
