Volkswagen Releases Details on its Full Line-Up for 2013

The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle has several new versions including a convertible, as well as a 140 hp, 2.0-liter TDI coupe (arriving next month) and a special Fender edition (think guitars) that arrives in the fall as both a 2.5-liter and Turbo model. All Beetle Turbo models now have a standard armrest and Turbo models with sunroof, sound and navigation get new 19-inch wheels, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and LED license-plate lighting. The 2013 Volkswagen CC features revised front and rear styling and now seats five. Bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights are now standard. The sportier R-Line model returns in late 2012.
The 2013 Volkswagen Eos gets a new Sport trim level, featuring Black Peak interior with brushed stainless steel pedals, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, lowered sport suspension, black exterior side mirrors, rear spoiler, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and adaptive front lighting. Lux models also get a lowered sport suspension and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
For 2013, the Volkswagen Jetta will now come in a hybrid version (shown here) that is expected to get 45 combine mpg, arriving in late 2012. The TDI Clean Diesel model continues to be available and all models get enhancements to the front seats. The SE trim gets minor updates including, most notably, power-recline on the driver and front passenger seats. The SEL trim level now features a six-way power driver seat with manual lumbar and sport front seats among other minor changes. A new trim level, SEL with Navigation, adds the Fender Premium Audio System and touchscreen navigation. The performance-oriented Jetta GLI now comes with Launch Control, which allows a controlled wheelspin, as well as technology updates to the GLI Autobahn with Navigation trim level. Volkswagen's Golf, Golf R, GTI, Jetta SportWagen, Passat, Routan, Tiguan and Toureg are either unchanged for have only minimal changes from the 2012 models.
